Word attachment changes font

I have an email attachment in Word that when I open it, it uses Times New
Roman font and when someone else opens it, it uses Courier font. Is there a
way to default this to only Times New Roman? Unfortunately, when it comes up
in Courier, some of the text is cut off, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

There isn't much you can do at your end & the problem isn't with the
doc.Evidently the other system doesn't have TNR installed. The first
suggestion would be to have them reinstrall the font.

Option 2 (as a temporary immediate solution) - Have the other user go to
Tools>Options>Compatibility, then click the Font Substitution button &
select their variation of TNR (if they have one) or whatever font they want
to sub instead of Courier.

Unlikely as it sounds the other user may not have TNR installed or it may be
corrupted which is forcing Word to make the substitution - Courier is the
default font used for that purpose.
