word 2003 opens slowly

HELP. Over the last 2 months my word application is taking longer to open. I
had to stop using it in Outlook and now a file takes 30 - 40 secs to open.
Any ideas?

Any Add-Ins installed? (in Word, Tools->Templates and Add-Ins)
Anything in the Word Startup folder? (C:\Documents and Settings\<your user
name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\Startup\)
