wmsodbc.exe

Does anyone know what this is or does? It shows in Task Manager with
approx. three different PIDs. It is not listed three separate times,
it is simply listed once, and the PID changes.

I see wmsodbc.exe in the processes list and it is hanging my system
after login. It monopolizes the CPU, sometimes in excess of 100%. If
I end the process, end explorer.exe, and then FILE/RUN from the Task
Manager for explorer.exe, I can get to my desktop.

I've searched the internet for any references to this file, but I
could not come up with anything.

Any ideas??

Very possibily a trojan or some type of spyware; run an up to date virus
scanner and a program like Ad-Aware or Spybot Search and Destroy.
