One very simple way is to open Windows
Movie Maker and Windows Media Player.
While playing the music file in Windows
Media Player...use the Narrate Timeline
option in Movie Maker to record it.
Choose....Stereo Mix...as your Audio input
source.
Save the file to a folder on your hard drive
and then import it into Movie Maker.
