WMP 10 restarting after clip starts

I am trying to play mp3's from different site on the Internet. When I
click on the file (the average is about 500KB) it starts to play and
after about 1 or 2 seconds it restarts and then plays the entire clip.
I checked the performance settings and I played around with the
different settings, but nothing worked. Any suggestions?

If your internet connection is dial-up it will do that. To solve this
is to change to DSL or Cable high speed.
