When i double click on a file which is associated with wmp 10 (mp3, avi, mpeg
etc), it continues to load up wmp but then crashes as the file starts
playing, any suggestions?

You state the file is associated with WMP, but what is the extension *.XXX)
of the file name? Just because it is "associated" with WMP, the file must
also
be compatible with WMP by its format, that is file extension to be playable.

They are files which i usually use with wmp 10 such as .mp3's .wav, .avi,
..mpeg and now it also crashes when i start it, i have recently installed
Reason and Sony sound forge 7?????

You may have just answered your own question. A conflict between several
applications could cause this. Also, reinstalling WMP will not likely solve
the
situation either. Check the websites of Reason and Sony for possible
solutions
and/or other people having similar problems.
