wmm2 to mydvd problems??

why is my dvd quality pretty bad when viewing on my tv
after i have edited and then made my final dvd using my
dvd plus 4 software as recommended by microsoft when
creating videos using wmm2

Did you save the movie as a DV-AVI file from Movie Maker 2.... to get the
best quality??
