Fell For It?
o.k. I am sure this question has surfaced before..
Using a Sony Vaio 430G series, XP-Home OS. Trying to
capture VHS tapes into WMM from analog VCR player hooked
to computer with AV cables. The point of sale preppies
convinced me I could do this but now am realizing probably
not! What is the best method to pull these analog tapes
from a VCR into WMM and then burn to DVD? Currently, with
all hook ups and power on with tape running, when I open
WMM and click on capture video I am prompted to check the
device for proper installation and power and try again,
which I do and continue to get the same prompt. Any
suggestions or links to other websites would be great!
Also, I have not upgraded to WMM 2, but have installed
Roxio Easy CD/DVD Creator 6 due to compatability issues
when trying to use older CD-R's created with Easy CD
Creator 4 on this new computer and XP.
