WM Dies

This is the first time out with WM using a Logtech webcam. I was chatting
with my sister, and decided to see if I could send her a video as I sat here
typing. She has no camera. Suddenly, I got an abort msg. WM disappeared from
the tray, and I don't see a reference in the Start menu. What's happened,
and how do I get WM going again. I did a reboot, and it didn't reappear in
the tray.

Try doing this:

Go to Start menu -> Run

Type: msmsgs.exe

If that works, then go to Tools -> Options -> Preferences tab, and check the
option "Run this program when Windows starts" so that it'll run everytime you
boot Windows so you won't have to manually open it.

If it doesn't work, then report back.

Thanks. That all worked. However, I have a few more obstacles. The major one
is that my sister needs to set up some properties to accept the video and
sound. I have no idea how she does that, or, conversely, how I would do it
for someone with a camera. Some minor problem were that when following the
wizard to use the camera, a few windows were a little to small for the text
and icons, and my sound test failed completely. I couldn't hear anything
when I clicked my fingers in front of the camera. Tapping on it didn't help.
Maybe there's a switch.

Earlier today I thought I'd try to chat and video with a friend with an
Apple. He said it wouldn't work unless I could get around .net to the Apple
suffix. net is the only option. I guess mfgers are territorial.
