WJViewer Error Message on XP and showing NO physical memory!

I was surprised to see someone else getting this error when rebooting, but he had just installed Win XP over Win ME. My laptop came with XP and I have no idea what I did nor what the WJViewer is. Siljaline mentioned installing spyware software. I run Spybot and AdAware several times a week and was hoping one of new registry cleaners, installed after this error message would find the culprit and delete it, but to no avail. I am a newbie and don't understand the registry enough to mess around with it manually. But I know I have some settings wrong because even though I only have 240 MBs of RAM left from 256 MBs, I am frequently showing no physical memory left before running any programs. Big time LAG! Can anyone help with this WJView error, but mainly give me some suggestions on what I can do about my physical memory and lag problems? HELP!! LOL

Wjview: Remove the runkey from here:

Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Run

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Run

To verify your version, go to Start/Run and type in: wjview

MS JVM Version 3809
http://tinyurl.com/fwvu

MS JVM Version 3810
http://tinyurl.com/fwty

Once 3809 is installed you can get the Update 3810 - 816093

The startup is trying to run a Java program that has been deleted -
WJView is the launcher for the Java engine. There seems to be some
trojan around of this sort, and the AV programs remove the Java file
without removing the entry to run the WJView and launch it: hence the
error message. Start - Run - MSConfig and in the Startup page look for
a line for WJView as command and uncheck it

On the memory matter, read up at www.aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.htm. Windows
does its level best to find *some* use for all of RAM at all times, and
you should expect tools to show little or no so-called 'free' memory

Thank you both for answering me so quickly. The strange thing is on my next reboot it disappeared completely, never to come back. Maybe one of my registry cleaners found it, but I didn't see anything remotely resembling it. Kind of going to the dentist and the toothache has disapeared. LOL But I'll check out that article on managing my lack of free memory. I have only been using it as sack-up puter since I just got a new notebook with Win. Media Center and made sure I got a GIG of RAM so I won't have to tweak it and mess it up. One day I may even have someone hook it up to my t.v. aand see what it really can do!! But it's great having a 17" monitor and full keyboard on a notebook! Screen looks even larger than my flat screen 17" on my PC, which I rarely use since I'm struck in bed sick. You were kind and I thank you again!!!
