WJ View error

T

tomw

I receive an error box on start up of Windows 2000 with
the header WJView and the message, 'could not execute Main'

If I close the dialogue box there does not seem to be any
problem with my system (Compaq Presario). What is causing
this error?

If you have access to a computer running Windows XP, copy the Msconfig.exe
utility from the XP computer to your Windows 2000 computer. Run Msconfig and
check the Startup tab. Look for a listing with WJView in the command string.
Look at the location and delete the Registry entry or shortcut that is
calling it.
