With windows xp home edit. how do I open files created in ms wks?

I have a new computer with Windows xp home edition. I think I transferred all
my data from my old computer equipped with Windows 98. I created spread
sheets and letters with Microsoft works. I cannot find some of my old files
or open what I do find. What can I do to use these files?

You need to install MS Works or MS Office 2003
