Wireless provisioning services needs Dial-Up Networking ?

Hi.
I need to use a wireless connection in my XPE configuration. I created a
small APP using WPS to add a wireless profile and it works fine on XP Pro.

Once I try to add the profile (IProvisioningProfileWireless::CreateProfile)
in XPE it fails with error 29 (WZCS failed when reading the 802.1X
configuration for the wireless profile defined by the XML data).

The wireless adapter driver is working fine so it hasn't got to do with it.

After lots of triels, I managed to find out that the component: "Dial-Up
Networking Common Libraries [Version 5.1.2600.2180, R2890]". Is the cause to
this issue.
Once I add it, every thing works fine, and if I delete it (leaving all it
dependecies in the configuration) CreateProfile fails again.

The problem is that this comonent has a huge dependency tree. It adds
internet explorer and many other components which I just dont want and need
(I am trying to create a small configuratiion as possible).

Does any one have a suggestion ?

Dear o_hanson,

You know the point is "Dial-Up Networking Common Libraries [Version
5.1.2600.2180, R2890]" component.

But you are afraid of huge dependency components.

I suggest you do disable "Auto-resolve dependencies" in
"Tools->Options->Dependency Check",
and do the test to add these components one by one.
