Wireless networks not showing?

Gustaf

Hi,

I am having a Cisco 350 Wireless network adapter in one of my clients
with
Wireless Zero Config component and Network Provisioning Service in the
TD.
I am sure I have more than 1 Wireless networks in the vicinity (Been
using netstumbler from www.netstumbler.com).
But this device doesnot show me any under "Available Wireless
Networks", but when I configure the SSID and other
parameter, connects sucessfully to the configured network. It
occassionally
says "There are more than one Wireless networks available click here
...",
but when I open the window it shows nothing.

Has anyone seen this before?? Am I missing something?
Please let me know..any tip/pointer will be appriciated..

Gustaf,

Probably a stupid question of mine but still - did you set up the AP (Access Point) to broadcast the SSID?

Gustaf,

I had similar problems some time ago.
Please check that you have the following components in your build:
"Simple Network Management Protocol"
"Network Location Awareness Service"

Hi KM,

Thank you for your answer.
The AP is setup to broadcast the SSID.

I just noticed that the "List Avail. Networks" works randomly.
I used the same image on the same machine (different FBA). Sometimes
it lists the network sometimes not. I have also gotten a mail from a
guy with the same problem. He has 2 identical machines with the same
images next to each other. One machine lists networks the other one
does not.

This is very frustrating, lottery everytime i run FBA with a new
image.

Any ideas are appriciated.
