Hi.

I've recently purchased the Wireless base station from MS
and the desktop usb adapter for my two desk tops, but I
just the other night
bought the Intel Anypoint 2 wireless pc card for my
laptop, . I'm trying to add it into my wireless network,
but I'm getting
nowhere fast, anythoughts? I've downloaded and installed
the latest drivers for the Intel and when the MS software
searches for the base station it can't find it... any
thoughts? the set up is, my desk top running xp pro is the
first comp wired to the base station, base station gets
the internet connection, 2nd pc running 2000pro has the
desktop usb adapter, and the laptop running 2000 pro
aswell has the Intel anypoint 2 wireless pcmcia slot card,
but it won't connect to the base station, what do I need
to do?

Scott.

I have found that your naming convention for the wireless
network should be unique. The default one could be used
by neighbors and can catch roaming from them if they have
the sme or similar devices.
