Wireless network problem

Hi! I'm having the wireless network problem outlined in
knowledge base article 828940, where the connection
continually drops and I have to keep rebooting the router
or my laptop to access the internet. The article is not
clear about how to fix this. It says that a hotfix is
available but seems to suggest that I have to have a
support contract and pay to get hold of it. Can I not just
download the fix from somewhere?

Is there a firmware upgrade for the router and/or a
driver update for the card you're using?
