wireless network connection

I can't seem to get windows (XP Pro) to let me setup a
wireless internet connection :( Device Manager says the
wireless card is working fine, but when I go to control
panel -> network connections -> create new connection ...
I have no options for wireless anywhere. I've installed
SP1 and SP2 and still had no luck. What do I do?
