wireless mouse

I have a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse the
keyboard is fine but the mouse is eratic the pointer
flies all over the screen and I need a mouse pad as big
as my desk to get the pointer to cover the whole screen I
would welcome any help

I had a Logitech trackball only about 5 months old that did the same and
after taking it apart and cleaning the problem still was present. Nothing I
did with drivers or anything helped. Changed to another mouse and the
problems went away. Try another mouse and see what happens
