Wireless mouse v. touch pad

T

Tim

My touch pad buttons were giving out. I bought a wired
mouse, which worked fine for a long time. Plug in the
wired mouse the touch pad becomes inoperative. I bought a
MS Wireless Optical Mouse with USB (use adapter to plug to
mouse connector). Problems is not the touch paid is
active and I can figure out how to stop it. You type and
you hit the touch pad, it messes up your typing of moves
the cursor sudden to another location. This is a big
problem. How can I disconnect touchpad?
