Yesterday (22 May) after install of waiting updates - my wireless
internet/broadband connection ceased working - I have had to resort to my
dial up connection which is working with no problem. Having hunted around I
have found in my System Support folder the following:
{9F1C11AA-197B-4942-BA54-47A8489BB47F} Damage
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/CAB/x86/unicode/iuctl.CAB?38034.4259837963

but have no idea if this is was the problem is. Does anyone have any bright
ideas (please keep it simple as I don't have much idea about this stuff)
I am running Windows XP (Home Edition) and Internet Explorer V
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_Sp2_gdr.050301_1519
Thanks

I sometimes lose my wireless connection with my laptop. So far, it's
always been fixed by simply right clicking on my network icon in the
the tray area (near the clock) and choosing the 'repair' option. Worth
a try, if you have that option.
