WinXP Pro and it's firewall and Remote Desktop good enough?

I'm not a pro and I need to give a friend who owns a small business
remote access to his office PC to run a legacy DOS application. He's
connected to the net by way of DSL. Is Microsoft's solution good
enough? Thanks.

Don't see anything against it. I use it with Remote desktop and it works
fine.
