I have small office network; 4 computers in peer to peer network. Two

fine until I conected one of XP running computer to Internet over the second
XP computer, the one with modem. After that, XP computers see each other and
Win98 computers see each other but no communication between these two pair of
computers.

I try everithing, but no succes. Please help!

Mirko,

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.

Make sure that NetBT is Enabled, explicitly, on the Windows XP computers. It's
not a choice on Windows 98. Windows 98 has NetBT Enabled.

If that's not the case, then you possibly have a master browser conflict. The
problem is, computers running Windows 98 and Windows XP don't work well
together, when maintaining Network Neighbourhood ("seeing" each other). My
recommendation would be that you disable the Browse Master on both Windows 98
computers, and ensure that the browser is running on both Windows XP computers.
