WINSOCKXPFIX.EXE

It would be nice if a program feature such as this was
integrated into MS Anti-Spyware for times that the
internet connection becomes affected. I know about
the "netsh winsock reset" but not every Tom, Dick, and
Harry knows about it. For those that are new to
computers having a winsock reset feature in the Anti-
spyware tool would be nice.

Under Advanced Tools | System Explorers | Networking
there is a Winsock LSP area which I presume will allow you
to manually fix a problem. Not nearly as neat or
automatic as WinsockXpFix.exe but a start. Wish there
were a way to save the current list so I could compare it
if something happened.

<Snip>
There seems to be a small bug with the display of this screen.
Highlighting one of the upper Layered Service Provider Protocols will
add a blue high light bar behind the text.

The blue bar seems to be misplaced when highlighting one of the lower
lines.
Bug may have been previously reported.

Note that my screen resolution is 1024x768 with Large 120dpi fonts.
