Winmm.dll not a valid Windows image

When starting Windows XP Home edition or after the
desktop is loaded, the following message is received:
The application or Dll is not a valid Windows image.
Please check this against your installation diskette.

What to do? System restore did not correct.

Hi!
It is associated with Windows Multimedia API.You can easily extract the
file from original XP CD.Insert the XP CD in CD-ROM and this dll is
located at X:\I386\WINMM.DL_ [Where X=your CD-Rom drive]
