Winipcfg for XP?

Is there a WINIPCFG or similar program for XPPro?

What is an easy way to release and renew IP addresses from the DHCP server?

Aloke,

try: IPCONFIG

To release and renew DHCP IP addresses, use:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

The GUI way to do what you want is to double-click your connection icon
in the tray and then select the Support tab. There is a repair button
there to refresh DHCP. Ignore stupid error message about dnscache. The
Details button gives you the winipcfg screen.

Thanks to all who replied. I didn't know that the W2K tool would work in
XP.

The Tips page is nice. Found lots of useful things there...
