I'm looking for the article for the below issue on
Win2000Pro

It keeps re-installing reinstalling reinstalling...
successful successful successful.

NOT, or maybe it is just keeps re-installing IMPORTANT
update 823559 successfully???

that go successfully and I have tio reupdate daily.. argh!

Experiencing this also with update Q324929, December 2002,
Cumulative Patch for Internet Explorer 6 SP1 on a machine
running Windows 2000 Professional SP4 and up - to - date
on updates. I am using Software Update Services to update
all clients. Only experience this problem on one machine -
new laptop.

Any information is appreciated.

I found my problem. Read KB article 826719 if you are
using Software Update Services.

Kevin,

324929 was replaced by 810847, which was replaced by 813489, which was
replaced by 818529. So as long as you have 818529 approved on your SUS
server, you can uncheck deployment of 324929. I have had several machines
experiencing this problem and this seems the only means to fix it. I don't
know why Microsoft is keeping this patch available for synchronization with
SUS servers since it has been superceded so many times.
