WindowsLive webmail from Qwest - Use as default?

I have read through previous questions pertaining to using webmail as the
default. Since these posts are a little old I will ask again.
I have webail through qwest and my address is a @q.com I would love to use
my Windows Mail application but it does not support HTTP and Qwest uses HTTP.
How do I set my default email to use the webmail account? I cannot access
hyperlinks from websites. Qwest will not give me a POP3 to use. One customer
service rep claims that this is a problem they are working on with a possible
fix in September, while others say that I cannot do anything, while yet
another thought he had the fix ( no luck).
any suggestions?

it would be nice if it were that easy. Qwest only offers POP to the dial up
customers . Already tried that and it does not work.

All I can say is I am shocked that Qwest doesn't offer POP mail to its
DSL customers. You may want to post your issue in a forum that is
dedicated to Qwest DSL: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/ilec,uswest
Maybe they know of a workaround.

I don't know of any way to make Qwest webmail the default mail
application for purposes like clicking on a mailto link on a web page.
