NOW if i try to start my computer it loads to whee you need a password
but i put my password in and it says
"This copy of windows must beactivated with microsoft before you can
log on.do you want to activate windows now."

i click yes and the screen goes blank and then signs me out with out
even showing anything.

i tried it again and the same thing happend.

i also tried to log in under safe mode but i guess im not to admin

This doesn't really make any sense (out of what you're "trying" to say).
Please explain better.

wheni type in my password i can access the option in the del when start up
says to but i cant change any of the options... is there any default key i
can use?

What is "del"? (your word are: the "del" when startup says)

you're still not making much sense!!

DEL key is to enter Computers BIOS. Nothing to do with Safe Mode!!!
This method ie pressing DEL key is asking for a password????????

Hitting F8 key is what gets you to Safe Mode menu!!!
f8 key i cant move it to safe mode i don't know why
you can't get to "move" to safe mode???
After you select Safe Mode then it asks for password!!
What names are on the menu?????

From your description,, Are you sure you wouldn't be better off getting
someone to help you or take to repair shop?????

Who and why were you told to reinstall??
It also sound like you don't even know what you did wrong!! So how are we
supposed to help you if you can't even tell us what you did??

durring start up you hit the delete key to enter set up with the blue
screen and yellow letters
a new red screen pops up and says enter password.
i enter my password and it doesnt give me all the options it should.
i can not change any options affter putting in my password.
It lets me do nothing at all

When i press the f8 keys 4 options are available
safe mode
safe mode with netwprking
safemode with command prompt

i cant get to them options i hit up arrow f10 everything..
nothing can get me into safe mode

all it allws me to do is use what is highlited
Most recent somehting
it counts down from 30 and starts up

You have a BIOS password set, it sound like you have entered the "user
password" an not the "supervisor password". The question is who set the
passwords and what are they. It isn't a WindowsXP issue, but you
probably should have tech support from the computer manufacture walking
you through this.

Take the computer to a qualified repair shop as it is apparent that you
have no idea what you are doing.

I don't see any reason for name calling.
We all started out as newbies maybe centuries ago but what ever.

Yes .it looks like he is definitely in need of assistance from someone.
I would say though that I'm not sure he speaks English well either. I
could be wrong.

Have you tried answer NO to the activation prompt?

What type of Internet connection do you have?

How did you uninstall Windows XP?

By default the Admin login is;
UserID: Administrator
Password: <just hit the enter key, there is no password>
