HI.
I have windows xp that is in a domain. When I try to change the local Admin
password, I get a message that it does not meet the password policy
rewuirement ( meaning too short). Where in the registry or somewhere else
can I change the policy to allow the password length that I want?

You don't.

Your system administrators (of the domain your system is a member of) have
chosen that length and complexity for security reasons (company policy, good
common sense - whatever.) They have control of the policies of that system
since it was joined to the domain.

If this is your PRIVATELY OWNED computer - it likely never should have been
joined to the domain.
