Windows XP Professional

I upgraded my computer from Windows XP Home Edition to Windows XP
Professional. Now when I start my computer I get the Windows Installer
trying to install "Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 and asking for the ECDC6.msi and
a3d.dll files.

I bought this download a couple of years ago and I do not know where the
files are. I cannot get the Windows Installer to quit or go away and I
cannot load the Professonal version of Microsoft Office until the Windows
Installer is freed up.

What can I do to fix this? Do I have to remove the Easy CD & DVD Creator 6
from my hard drive? It still works even if all the files are not there.
How do I get Windwos Installer to let go of this?

Unless they were deleted the ECDC6.msi should be in the ECDC6 folder in,
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Local Settings\Temp
Yourname being whatever yours is.
You may need to make all folders visible to see the temp folder.

I tried to find the file ECDC6.msi as suggested but it was not there I also
did a search. What do I do now? I cannot even close windows with the
installer hung up. I have to flip the switch off.
