Windows XP Product Key Usage

I purchased my computer with Windows XP Professional, it
says on the sticker where the key is "Windows XP
Professional 1 - 2CPU OEM Product". Does that mean 1 - 2
CPU can have this product on it with the same key, or does
that mean 1 - 2 CPU concurrent connections to this system?

It means it can run on a motherboard with 2 CPUs physically installed in it,
nothing more.

It means that Windows XP Professional can support a motherboard with up to
two processors installed. It does not mean that you can install XP on
another PC.

It means a motherboard having one or two CPU chips on it

(Please do not confuse yourself by using 'CPU' to refer to the whole box
- it is that 'Central processor unit' chip on the main motherboard
inside)
