Inna

I was getting several error messages 1- dynamic link
library (dll) initialization routine failed. 2- error
loading C:\winntsystem32\nvcpl.dll 3-
c:\winnt\servicepackfiles\i386\controls.man I can't seem
to fix any of them. And now my system does not recognize
my cd or dvd drives so I can't reinstall windows. What
can I do?

Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore and use
the last known start up configuration available.

If that does not work, try booting from the Windows CD, and repairing the
corrupted installation on the hard drive.

Friendly Criticism

Andre,

The OP noted that her computer doesn't recognize the CD
or DVD drives. How can she boot from the Windows CD ?

In a diffrent (previous) thread the OP reported keyboard
problems and the same problem occured when he used his
friends keyboard. You asked if his keyboard was still in
warranty. It was obviously not a keyboard issue. You
need to read the posts more carefully.

Nothing personal.
