I just tried sp2 and ever thing works better except my dialup connections I
noticed sp2 upgrades my soft modem from Generic Softk56 to a v90 speaker
phone modem the Generic SoftK56 connects on my plan dialup account 44 to
48kbs the new modem will only connect at 22 to 28kbs but if I connect with
aol it connects at 49kbs are there any switches I noticed it doesn't say 56k
in the new soft but in diagnostics shows the old stuff is there i just dont
know how to make the plan dailup connection use it. Iv used system restore
to remove sp2 to keep my connection speed up but i would like to use it it
helps my pc.
