Windows XP Pro Log in

I installed a new windows XP Pro edition into my Compaq presario S6300NX.
Now when ever I first boot up it has a menu for me to select
Windows XP pro
OR Computer Recovery.How do I get the computer to boot without this menu

Click Start, Run. Type MSCONFIG and press {ENTER}
Select the "Boot.ini" tab.
Lower the Timeout value accordingly.
