Windows XP Pro Activation

Nathan Bullock

I am constantly upgrading PC's at our church. I recently
installed and activated 5 PC's on the LAN. Now I need to
do some hardware upgrades but afraid I cannot reactivate
after reinstalling operating system. Upgraded at home and
Microsoft will not reactivate. Was forced to go with
pirated copy even though I paid for legal copy. Sorry now
that I upgraded beyond Windows 98SE. Does anyone know how
I can upgrade hardware and still get MS to allow me to
activate or is this a one shot deal?

Greetings --

The inability to follow on-screen prompts and instructions is not
a valid excuse for committing software piracy. Exactly what kind of
church do you work for? Most at least try to pretend they teach
honesty.

Product Activation does not hinder hardware upgrades in the
slightest.

Sometime microsoft will sell OS at a discount software to a charity.
If you need xp on your home computer buy one.

Not to get into a church debate, but if you go to that chruch.
you just stole because your using a pirated copy.

I am not judging you, just pointing out a fact. I could careless
weather or not you have a illegal copy. The reason is I don't like the
activation policy of Microsoft, that is a debate for another thread.
