Windows XP Login Password - Show letters

We have a member of staff who needs the login password to show the letters as
due to their disability often the wrong keys can be hit resulting in lock out
from the server after 3 attempts. Is there any known way to do this?

I doubt it. However, what about using an on-screen keyboard? This search
indicates that it is possible to run an on-screen keyboard at login to help
disabled persons:
