Windows XP Home Update SP1

Guest

I have recently updated Windows XP Home Edition and now find that whenever I
click on a program, menu option, internet page that the mouse tends to
multi-click and hence either close the program or bring up another function
or program. Does anybody have a remedy for this annoyance?

Can you gº to Windows Update, select Express (Get high-priority updates),
and apply all offered updªtes
http://update.microsoft.com

Once that is finished, can you verify the update installs? There are many
pre-requisite files which are needed from windows update and signature update
with windows defender will fail until you hªve these f!les.

Why have you reverted back to 8 bit to send your posts? It is
*unreadable* to most others! You had changed it to *proper* 7 bit in
your previous post...
