Windows XP Home edition

Hello,

I have a PC with windows XP home edition in German language.Can I install
english version of Windows XP Home edition using the same Product key and a
different XP Home CD?
If yes then I do not have a Windows XP Home edition CD (english
version).Also the German version product recovery CD has got corrupted. Can I
create a CD by downloading any image file?Please let me know.

Sorry, the answers are all no. You cannot use the English version product
key with a German WinXP CD and you cannot dowload a legal WinXP image file.
Try copying your recovery CD on a different PC or ask the supplier for a
replacement.
