Windows XP Forgets My Folder Window Layouts ???

I keep spending ages on frequently used folder windows setting the view to
icons, deselecting auto arrange and then laying out all the folders in
logical groups.

At one time windows would accaisionally forget these layouts and I'd have to
do it again. Now it's happening all the time!

How can I stop Windows trashing my efforts?

Try Kelly's link, below. Click on "F", then scroll down to...
"Folder Views - Keep Settings"
