Hi!
I am having a problem on a Windows XP Professional PC
where in the Event Viewer I have an error coming up in
the Application section stating:
Source: ESENT
Category: Logging/Recovery
Event ID: 454
Description:Catalog Database (1312) Database
recovery/restore failed with unexpected error -551.
I found a something regarding the local Group Policy file
being corrupt in the Microsoft Knowledge Base, but it did
not seem to fix the problem. It also dealt with Windows
2000, etc. PC's not XP.
Some background on the PC:
a. Windows XP Professional
b. Networked on a Domain
c. Group Policy coming down on individual users
d. Computer Associates eTrust AntiVirus Program
