Windows XP Backup program in Home Edition

Subject program must be loaded individually from the
CD-ROM. I have no CD-ROM, since my computer's (HP513N)
XP was loaded by HP with System Recovery software stored
(not to be used by owner) in Drive D:. Apparently, Backup
is not included. I need this Backup program. HP has washed
their hands of my machine, and me, since it is out of warranty.
How can I download this program, presumably from Microsoft,
since the version of XP provided to HP did not include this
software without my knowledge and I didn't learn of this
omission until my computer was out of warranty?

Some OEMs like HP choose to not provide NTBACKUP.
Even if you had discovered this before warranty ended, you only choice
would be to buy a model that included NTBACKUP.
If it is not included you are not licensed for it.
NTBACKUP is not available from Microsoft as a download.

There are 3rd party choices available from various sources.
