Windows XP and windows sizes

I'm trying to figure out how to start different applications at specific
positions and window sizes on my desktop. Adobe Acrobat Professional to be
specific.

Everytime I start it up, it changes size/position. I can't find any registry
entries that determines the settings, and Adobe says there aren't any. But I
know from previous that it's possible. It all changed after i switch from
1600x1280 to 1600x1200 resolution, new monitor didn't support the higher
resolution.

Tried to remove/re-install Adobe, but nothing changed. Is there a
reg-setting in WinXP that stores the information?

Hi

I'm not sure it's possible. AFAIK the window size is global.

your only option is to start program: normal, minimized, maximized (you can
change this setting at
desktop>right click on icon>properties>shortcut>run)

I find this hard to believe, becuase I have the same application at home,
and there it starts at the exact same position/size (not maximized) every
time.

Hi

Specific sizes of windows for individual apps. I don't think is possible.
The 'solution' you gave is global - and won't work!!

That's the only solution I can think of that's available.
Other than that get used to extra click when you start program
