have installed it 5 times and it still is listed for me to update i keep
getting Notice to update windows media player script KB 828026= thanks for

Hi Huck,

Same answer as in the windowsxp.basics group where you also asked this
question:

First, uninstall it (Control Panel/Add & Remove, it's listed as "Windows
Media Player Hotfix 828026"). Then download the stand-alone version from the
catalog option at the update site and install it that way instead. If you
don't see the catalog option, add it using personalize.
