Windows Update(xp home)

Can somebody help me please?I have tried to get a couple
of Windows Updates that i have left there such as a
moviemaker update and now it scans to a 100% in a second
and shows no updates at all.I still use a Dial-up
connection that is why i did not get all Windows updates.I
did get all Critical updates,so can anybody help.Please.ED

Try this, first, open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Internet
Options and on the General tab, click Delete Cookies, Delete Files and
accept the option to delete all offline content and Delete History.

Second, open Windows Explorer, click the plus sign next to the Windows
folder, click the plus sign next to the System32 folder, rename the catroot2
folder to catroot2old(Note, DO NOT RENAME THE CATROOT FOLDER. That is a
different folder), reboot and try Windows Update again.
