My "WINDOWS UPDATE ICON" is no longer on my desktop, start menu nor in the
add or remove program...... When I try to "find" it with the "search"
option I still cannot find it anywhere on my computer...... How can I get
it back ????

Create a new shortcut by right clicking on the desktop and selecting "new
shortcut":
Location of the item: %SystemRoot%\system32\wupdmgr.exe
Select Next
Now type a name for the shortcut: Windows Update
Select Finish

Now you can drag the Shortcut to your Start Menu
Right click on the Start Button and select Open all Users
After making the necessary adjustments to the size of the windows so you can
see the new icon on the desktop, drag the new shortcut to Windows Update
into the Start Menu.
