If sounds as if you have Task Manager running in "Tiny
footprint mode".Double click the border to restore it to its
original appearance.

Why is part of my Task Manager gone?

Hi,

There will be a light grey border around the task manager just double click
on it and the title and all will re-appear.

Good Luck

You're running Task Manager in what's called "Small Footprint Mode." To
change back and forth from this mode to regular mode, just double-click on
the border.
