\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

Hi, I am having a major problem with my laptop. When I turned it on it
displayed the following message,

\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\STSTEM.

It's saying that I need to restart the windows setup using the original
Setup CD-ROM.

The problem is I don't have the cd to do the restart from. Does anyone know
of anyway that I can get around this, or is there somewhere that I might be
able to get the CD from?

While booting hit F8 just before the operating system loads

then opt for last known good configuration

That doesn't work, it just gives me the same message.

I'd run a RAM test and the mfg's harddrive diagnostic
to be sure your hardware is OK.

If so...then you wiol need to perform a repair installation
