Windows \System 32\ Autoexec.nt message

When I log in to my user accounts, the message as follows always appears:
c:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application. This appeared after trying to install an older Microsoft
program to Windows XP. There is no uninstall program as it did not
completely install and it does not appear in the "add or remove programs" in
the control panel. How can I remove this.

Copy the autoexec.nt in the \windows\repair folder to the \windows\system32
folder - this should 'fix' the corrupt one in \system32 and solve the
problem.
