Windows Startup Problem

When I start my computer everything is fine till the welcome screen
appears, but after that it takes a lot of time to start. The cursor turns to
busy sign
and even the welcome sound is heard after quiet a long time. All my tray
icons do not appear(2 out of 4 appear).I've tried disabling the startup items,
services but to no use.I've also tried Microsoft Bootvis and other softwares
but they to didn't work.Any replies or suggestions in this regard will be
greatly appreciated.

I would suspect some system file is corrupt, like winlogon32.exe. I would run
the command:

SFC /SCANNOW

to replace any corrupt files.
