window's resolution problems

i installed windows 2000 on my rented computer which
previously had xp.... well, for some reason, i cannot
choose anything other than 16 color resolution. help
someone! emails would be appreciated.

The problem can be corrected by installing the correct drivers for the
video adapter that is in the PC. Visit the manufacturers web site and
download and install the one for your hardware.
